As the global health recovery evolves, the policies and initiatives listed below may change. What will not change is the same level of excellence you’ve come to expect from CMH.

Vaccine & testing information

Yes. All staff and guests aged 12 and older staying at our lodges, using helicopters or any other form of transportation, are required to be fully vaccinated with a Government of Canada-accepted vaccine at least 14 days prior to their arrival date at the lodge. 

For those entering Canada from another country, you must meet specific government-regulated entry requirements including full vaccination. More information 

No. Although we highly recommend and encourage you to test yourself for COVID-19 before arriving at any CMH location, it is no longer required.  

However, please be safe and responsible for the health and safety of everyone in our lodges — if you display symptoms in the lead-up to your trip, do not travel. Our flexible cancellation policies remain in place this summer for everyone’s safety. 

Book with peace of mind

  • Deposits are fully refundable up until ninety (90) days prior to trip start date
  • Final Payment will not be collected at ninety (90) days prior to trip, if one or more of the following conditions remain in place due to COVID-19:
    • Canadian borders remain closed to non-essential travel
    • Travelers coming into Canada are required to quarantine (self-isolate) for 14 days
    • Government imposed travel restrictions that do not allow you to leave your country of residence
  • Remaining trip cost will be due at sixty (60) days prior to trip start date.
  • Sixty (60) days prior to trip start date, if travel restrictions remain in place, final payment due date will change to thirty (30) days prior to trip start date
  • Thirty (30) days prior to trip start date, if COVID-19 travel restrictions remain in place, CMH will contact you to cancel your trip and discuss the following options:
    • Move full funds to a trip in the 2023 summer season, with no change fee (though trip cost may be subject to price increases)
    • Put funds on account to be used towards a new trip within 2 years.
    • Provide a full refund if the above options are not suitable for you.
  • Once Final Payment has been collected, all monies are non-refundable.
